Hints for Problem #1 - Rank of Magic Squares

• The function magic(n) is used to create a magic square of size n.
• The function rank(X) computes the rank (number of independent columns) of X. The rank is a scalar.
• A cell array is an array that contains other arrays as elements. A element of a cell array C can be accessed via the indexing syntax C{i},C{i,j},C{i,j,k},... where i,j, and k are scalar indices. When i,j, or k are vectors, this syntax produces a comma separated list.
• The function bar(y) produces a bar plot.
